To grow up and become a DJ was something that I knew ever since I was 16 years old. I grew up in the 80’s when Break Dancing was a craze. I got my first taste while at a House Party. My buddy was the DJ, and he needed a bathroom break. He asked me to cover the (then) turntables, and I’ve been hooked ever since. From there, I learned to “scratch” and took on the name “Scratch Master J,” which I kept through the 90’s while working for the FM Radio Station, Power 106. It wasn’t until the early 2000’s that I changed my name to DJ Angel for obvious reasons.
